Allan Kardec e os doutores que cuidam do corpo e da alma

O cemitério do Père-Lachaise, em Paris, na França, é o mais famoso do mundo. Lá estão sepultadas, entre outras celebridades, o escritor inglês Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), o compositor franco-polonês Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) e o roqueiro americano Jim Morrison (1943-1971). De suas 70 mil sepulturas, uma das mais visitadas é a do professor Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail (1804-1869), o nome de batismo de Allan Kardec. “A qualquer dia da semana, o mausoléu de Kardec está sempre enfeitado. Há sempre um brasileiro acendendo velas ou depositando flores”, observa o sociólogo Reginaldo Prandi, professor da Universidade de São Paulo. “Para os franceses, o kardecismo é ciência, literatura ou filosofia. Para nós, é algo maior: virou uma religião.”
